OUR PROJECTS
BIPINDI IRON ORE PROJECT
The Bipindi Iron Ore Project, developed by G-Stones Resources S.A., a subsidiary of the Cameroonian conglomerate BOCOM, is a transformative initiative in Cameroon’s mining sector. Located in the South Region and covering 474.6 km², the project boasts estimated reserves of 150 million tons of iron ore with an average grade of 29.45%. Strategically positioned near the Akom II deposit, it offers significant synergy for joint mining.
The project incorporates advanced geophysical surveys, including magnetized airborne studies, highlighting untapped potential for further discoveries. Key infrastructure includes a 20-30 MW heavy fuel power station, a 7.5 km access road, and a mineral terminal at Kribi’s deep-sea port to facilitate global exports. Additionally, the project plans to establish a steel complex in Fifinda, supporting local value addition. With an initial production target of 2 million tons of iron concentrate annually and exports slated for December 2024, the project is poised to drive regional economic growth. It is expected to create over 3,500 direct jobs while spurring local infrastructure development, including roads, bridges, and community facilities. With state-of-the-art equipment already deployed, Bipindi represents a major step forward in leveraging Cameroon’s natural resource wealth for sustainable development and international trade.

Phase I Drilling: Unlocking Hidden Potential
In Phase I of our exploration, G-Stones Resources has made significant progress toward realizing the potential of its mineral-rich concessions. With two advanced drill rigs, we have completed 4 kilometers of diamond drilling (DD), along with regional and infill mapping across nearly half of the identified high-magnetic trend. This effort led to the discovery of a moderate-grade iron ore body. Additionally, multiple high-priority targets have been identified using airborne geophysical data, including magnetic and radiometric surveys.
Unexplored Potential
Despite these advancements, over 91% of the highly prospective 45-kilometer magnetic trend remains unexplored, offering immense opportunities for future discovery. With an exploration target aiming to establish a minimum resource of 1.2 billion tons at 30% Fe, G-Stones Resources is committed to unlocking the full potential of these reserves, setting the foundation for a sustainable, stand-alone mining operation.
