THE COMPANY
G-Stones Resources S.A. is a dynamic limited liability company based in Cameroon, operating as a subsidiary of the renowned Groupe BOCOM. We are specialized in exploration and mining, and hold two valuable —Akom 2 (Mining) and Bipindi (Exploration). With these strategic assets, G-Stones Resources has obtained ministerial approval for its mining license, positioning the company as a significant player in Cameroon’s thriving mining sector.
The Groupe BOCOM extensive 14,000 square kilometers of mineral-rich concessions reflect our commitment to tapping into the immense potential of the region’s resources.
The President and CEO's MESSAGE
The G-Stones Resources Project is an ambitious initiative that embodies the vision of an industrialized and emerging Cameroon. Led by G-Stones Resources SA, a subsidiary of Groupe BOCOM, the project focuses on the exploitation of the Bipindi potential and the Akom-2 iron ore deposit, located in the South Region of Cameroon. With an initial production capacity of 2 million tons of iron ore concentrate per year, the AKOM II project (Grand-Zambi iron ore deposit) install the Cameroon as a global leader in high-quality iron production. Thanks to the strategic support of HIS EXCELLENCY, THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON, Mr. Paul Biya and a robust governance, the project is transforming the nation’s mineral wealth into a catalyst for sustainable development.
Beyond mining operations, G-Stones Resources SA is deeply committed to improving the well-being of local communities. Over 300 direct jobs have already been created, alongside the training of numerous young talents, showcasing our dedication to enhancing local skills and expertise.
And more than 1,000 indirect jobs have been created via the new business created because of the project and living alongside of the project
Our approach integrates social and environmental responsibility, minimizing ecological impact while maximizing economic and social benefits. This project, hailed as a blessing by the communities of Bipindi and beyond, brings new infrastructures, creates growth opportunities, and strengthens social cohesion.

- Will be owned by The Republic of CAMEROON (representated by SONAMINES) at 10%
