With two key licenses (mining and exploration), Akom-2 and Bipindi, and ministerial guidance for its mining activities, G-Stones Resources is at the forefront of the nation’s mining sector. Our concessions span an extensive 1,000 square kilometers of mineral-rich land, strategically located near major infrastructures such as power stations, railways, and deep-sea ports, ensuring seamless operations and efficient resource development.
The G-Stones Resources Project is an ambitious initiative that embodies the vision of an industrialized and emerging Cameroon. Led by G-Stones Resources SA, a subsidiary of Groupe BOCOM, the project focuses on the exploitation of the Bipindi potential and the Akom-2 iron ore deposit, located in the South Region of Cameroon. With an initial production capacity of 2 million tons of iron ore concentrate per year, the AKOM II project (Grand-Zambi iron ore deposit) install the Cameroon as a global leader in high-quality iron production. Thanks to the strategic support of HIS EXCELLENCY, THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON, Mr. Paul Biya and a robust governance, the project is transforming the nation’s mineral wealth into a catalyst for sustainable development.
Beyond mining operations, G-Stones Resources SA is deeply committed to improving the well-being of local communities. Over 300 direct jobs have already been created, alongside the training of numerous young talents, showcasing our dedication to enhancing local skills and expertise.
